1. My love affair with New York City continues. We’ve been dating for quite sometime now. I think it could be getting serious.
2. I can live without many things, my eyebrow specialist is not one of them.
3. I learnt to step outside my comfort zone and talk in public on 9/11. I possibly wish that I hadn’t burst into tears during my speech, but luckily it was only in front of 230 people.
4. I fell in love with Los Angeles. I was convinced I was going to hate it, which is ironic considering I used to announce to my parents I was going to be an actress at most meal times from age 4-17.
5. I made new friends, on top of the wonderful ones I already have. Friends so wonderful, charming and precious that I simply can’t imagine my life without them.
6. I learnt about paragliding, thermals and weather patterns. It is a breathtaking sport. However, until I learn to always put my shoes on the right feet and take my seatbelt off before I try to get out of the car, it’s probably not something I should be encouraged to try.
7. My personal trainer saves me every week. She helps me run in the opposite direction to middle-age, introduces me to muscles I have never met and keeps my mind sane. I definitely talk to myself less since meeting her. Love you Spom.
8. In 2001 the world changed, but the power of images is constant. I love that my job makes people happy. It makes me happy too.
9. Sam, Frankie & Lulu. My three little angels who teach me far more than I could ever try to teach them.
10. I lost my best friend and side kick. Life will never be the same again.
