When it comes to Instagram, there are many hidden features that can come in handy when posting. The first and most important one is Insta4likes, a website that offers services which allows you to become popular on the social media networking site.
Reposts
First, let’s look at what repost is. Repost is copying of a post of another user to your page either with the author’s name or copying information or photos with his name directly from his profile. At the same time, copying without indicating authorship is not considered repost.
Initially, on Instagram, unlike many other well-known social networks, reposting is impossible. Sometimes this is rather unpleasant because you want to share someone’s interesting publication with the world, and neither reposts nor links work. However, oddly enough, this problem has a solution. True, it will be necessary to use not Instagram itself, but a third-party service. Its only limitation is that it does not act on closed profiles, which is understandable.

The application is called quite straightforward – ” Repost”, and both users of IOS and Android can use it. After installing the application, you need to follow these steps. To get started, select your favourite post, click on the three dots and copy the link. Then open the downloaded application – the copied link will appear there automatically.
Click on the publication and set the settings you need. Then just click on the “Repost” button and wait. When the process is completed, the publication will appear in the regular Instagram editor, and you will only have to follow the standard editing steps to share it with your friends. Also, the application does not require authorization or registration.
Oddly enough, many Instagram users still do not know that the app has a function that allows you to publish multiple photos at the same time. Then, in the publication, they can be scrolled to the left.
To implement this idea, you just need to click on this sign when choosing a photo for publication, then choose the number and order of photos. Next, are the usual steps for posting pictures to Instagram. It’s not difficult to understand which post several photos are in. Under it, there will be dots in the corresponding quantity.
Archive
Not only stories but also directly publications can be sent to the archive. They won’t disappear anywhere, they’ll just be temporarily unavailable for followers, and you can always cancel this action. If you are not sure about the post, or just want to temporarily hide photos that have already been posted to followers, this feature will become your faithful assistant.
You can temporarily archive photos with text, it will disappear from the profile and will be available only to you. Subsequently, you can easily return the publication to its place, and it will appear in the same period when it was originally posted.
To add a photo to the archive, you must open the post, click on the three dots above the photo and select “Archive”. To view the photo, click on the clock icon in the upper right corner, and then select the “Publication Archive” section.
To return a photo to your profile, perform the same operation as viewing, then open the post you want to return, click on the three dots and select “Show in profile”. Archived posts are only visible to you.
Instagram instructions for use
After publication
Active Instagram users have probably come across publications with a huge number of hashtags more than once, and, perhaps, they were their authors. There is also a function on the network that allows you to publish the same post, with the same photo and text from Instagram to Facebook, etc. However, many tags look inappropriate.
What to do? Everything is very simple. To start, edit the photo, and then, right before publication, add the text that you would like to see on other social networks. After that, choose the network to which you want to share this post, and complete the publication.
As soon as the post is published where necessary, click on it directly in Instagram, click on the three dots to the right of the account name and select “Edit.” Now add as many tags as you like and save the post.
Compare photo
Instagram has one very convenient feature, which, unfortunately, not everyone knows. And it consists in the fact that with one click you can view the photo before and after processing, without leaving the application. And for this, it is not at all necessary to open a picture in a gallery or on another device.
To view the photo before processing at the editing stage, after adding the effects you need, click on it and hold for a while. A photo without filters will immediately open to you, and if you release it, the edited one will appear again. This useful feature allows you to compare colours, sharpness, and contrast in pictures, and improve them.
Two-factor authentication
Many of you have probably not heard of this feature on Instagram. It is very useful for those who are afraid to lose their account or who have valuable information in their profile. Two-factor authentication allows you to add another level of protection to your account with a verification code and ensures that it is the account owner who is logging in.
To activate two-factor authentication, you need to go to your profile, click on the three dots in the upper right corner, select the appropriate section in the settings and activate the security code requirement.
If your account is not yet tied to a phone number, you will be asked to do this, and then you will be given a code. After that, you can be sure that your account is twice as secure as before. This feature is useful for everyone, and not just for owners of large blogs.
Turn off comments
In the settings, you can disable all comments, but what if you want to leave this feature on all posts except, for example, one? Let’s say the topic is too sharp, and you just want to share your thoughts about it, without discussion. Or you just want to tell the world what happened, but you are afraid of negative comments.
To this end, Instagram provides a very handy feature – you can disable comments for any particular publication. After you have posted a post, open it, click on the three dots above the photo and select “Turn off comments.” After that, your followers will not be able to speak out under this post, but for other publications, this opportunity will remain.
