This is the season when jeans and tights are dumped at the far end of the wardrobe, while skirts and dresses take centre stage. It is time to put all boots and stockings in the storage cupboard and make way for sexy stilettos and flirtatious sandals.
Brisbane-based shoe label, Nat-Sui, is ready to win the hearts of every shoe-addict, with their spring-summer collection.
The face behind the label, Natalie Mainwaring, is known as the “queen of high heels” as she continues to design handmade shoes of the highest quality.“Our store has been inundated since our parade at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival in Brisbane. People really can’t wait for spring to start,” said the proud owner.
Following the grand success of their first stand-alone parade in the festival, this spring, Nat-Sui is all about clogs, open wedges and flat sandals. Natalie’s design policy is focused around her customers’ needs, with a dash of flexibility. “We have an extensive chart of leather and other material that the customers can chose from. They can mix and match our shoes with other shoes that they have,” she said.
As military and tribal looks rock every magazine’s trend page, shoes are not being left behind. One of the hottest colours, this season, is leopard, which is also complimenting the safari look. “There are tassels, bows and subtle lacing in the new collection. It can easily transform from day into night wear,” said Natalie.
Nat-Sui targets a wide range of ages, which is evident in their new, quirky designs.
“The green strappy platforms with holes in the wedges are crazy and fun. Queensland is about beaches and sand, so black and cream are not really appropriate,” said Natalie.
Nat-Sui isn’t scared of loud colours and striking prints. Its latest collection flaunts the boldest colours of the season, the brightest orange and the pinkest pink.
The label also designs bags made out of hand-treated natural fish skins, patent leather, shiny croc skin and soft suedes.
Spring-Summer 2010/11 is welcoming the comeback of metallic studding and woven-jute baskets.
Natalie has focused on the “beach aspect” by incorporating colours like silver, oyster, leafy green and aqua blue in her bag collection.
Nat-Sui has over 100 outlets Australia-wide, including its exclusive flagship store in Brisbane.
This affordable luxury is a gold-star in every girl’s shoe collection.
