Sids and Kids has created many ways to support its Red Nose Day on the last Friday of June this year by partnering with Aussie Wipes to create its first Red Nose Baby Wipes. Five percent of each purchase will go toward supporting SIDS and sudden infant death syndrome to fund vital research into stillbirth, safe sleeping practices and support services to bereaved families.
Aussie Wipes was selected to partner with Sids & Kids as it’s the only brand of wipes to be Australian made and owned. Each year in Australia, over 3,500 families experience the sudden and unexpected death of a baby or child from stillbirth or during the first month of life. SIDS and Kids relies almost totally on the support of the community.
“Our new Red Nose Baby Wipes are a perfect extension to our loved Red Nose Day brand and offer Australians another easy way to support sudden infant death syndrome. Partnering with a quality Australian manufacturer like Aussie Wipes means we have a good quality product that also does well. We hope more Australians buy our wipes to help save more babies lives,” says Leanne Raven, Red Nose Day CEO.
Red Nose Baby Wipes are specifically formulated to be not too wet and not too dry, dermatologically tested, pH balanced and hypoallergenic. They are available in scented and unscented 100 wipe packs and 30 wipe travel packs. They are the only baby wipes in Australia accredited by the Forest Stewardship Council to help manage our forests and are dermatologically tested to be delicate on baby’s skin.
Red Nose Baby Wipes is aiming to sell over one million packs per year to help fund research into stillbirth, SIDS and safe sleeping practices. Available from the SIDS and Kids online store, bulk orders only of nine pack of 100 wipes per box for $35.90 + p&h www.sidsandkidsshop.org or www.aussiewipes.com.au.
