Vintage-lovers, rejoice! Melbourne has a new market, Footscray Finds.
Starting 18 June, in partnership with Maribynong City Council, Footscray Finds will feature the unique, boutique and handmade monthly at Footscray Library’s Carpark, Paisley Street, Footscray.
From a huge book sale, to an eclectic mix of vintage fashion, vinyl records, handmade soy candles and fresh vegan produce from local producers, makers and individuals, Footscray Finds is set to rival markets on the other side of the river.
The market will, each month, offer live music, food trucks and heaps of stalls, with vintage Queen, DJ Emma Peel (PBS radio) lined up for June.
Stallholders can apply for either car boot or a 3 x 3m marquee space (BYO marquee and all equipment), for $50 per space.
The market will run on the third Sunday of each month 8am – 1pm and is free entry to shoppers.
It’ll be worth missing the Sunday lie-in.
