At midday yesterday, Onya was invited to join some of Australia’s sporting legends who had gathered to toast Mark Webber on the eve of the 2010 Formula One Qantas Australian Grand Prix.
Joining the F1 Champion and Team Red Bull driver on Southbank (and arriving riverside by boat) were the cream of Australia’s sporting crop; Melbourne Victory player Kevin Muscat, retired AFL star Glen Archer, jockey Damien Oliver, motorcycle racing legend Mick Doohan, rower and three-time Olympic gold medalist James Tomkins, soccer player Archie Thompson (who currently holds the all time record for most goals (13) scored in one international match) and the golden lady of the Winter Olympic Games, freestyle skier and gold medalist Lydia Lassila.
The gorgeous Pia Miller, model, television host and wife of Melbourne Football Club player Brad Miller, is the face of the F1 Qantas Australian Grand Prix and was in attendance to toast Mark Webber and wish him every success for the upcoming Grand Prix.
The Australian Grand Prix is running from March 25th to March 28th in Albert Park, Melbourne. For more information visit http://www.grandprix.com.au.
