Jishan Garden on St Kilda Road is a much needed oasis in an urban environment, inspired by the symbolic dualism of Ying and Yang.
Nestled in an unsuspecting location on St Kilda Road, Jishan Garden aims to balance to our lives with yoga, dining and tea experiences available during the day and after dark cocktail events for a little yang. Jishan Garden has just launched in the heritage building formerly known as “Willows”, a popular wedding venue just south of the city.
Partnered with Yoga 8, this tranquil setting provides yoga classes and workshops for the hardcore yogi and those of us who just need an hour to ourselves. The yoga studio is a beautiful, open space with floor to ceiling windows providing a view of the gardens and heritage building facade. The yoga studio is perfectly complimented by the Oriental afternoon tea experiences held in the dining room of the main building. The tea experience includes 16 different elements to create the perfect blend as well as Jishan’s signature blend. The aromatic teas are matched with small, intricate savoury courses, and an array of traditional sweets. The food is almost too pretty to eat but you won’t regret it when you do! Tea experiences and other dining experiences are held in the main building with Japanese themed interiors providing a calming dining experience. Check out their website for their seasonal banquets for a special night out.
The space transforms at night with a specifically tailored bar menu and cocktail list for those looking for a unique night out. Keep an eye out for the after dark experiences that will be held at Jishan Garden! Jishan Garden also is available for events with three separate spaces available for your next function, whether it be a party or a workshop. Choose out of the iconic gardens that include a cocktail deck, picnic lawn and French avenue, the clear roof pavilion, ideal for yoga classes and workshops, and the heritage house building with two separate dining areas and private spaces.
