Australia’s best contemporary Japanese restaurant, Kisumé, has re-opened its sushi bar, offering a takeaway menu of its delicately prepared sushi selection, and getting its highly skilled sushi masters back in the job.
Customers can pre-order favourites from Kisumé’s famous sushi bar, with each piece prepared with precision, patience, skill and tradition by its team of sushi masters.
With the support of loyal and outstanding seafood suppliers Kisumé has also been able to access even more of the very best Australian seafood that usually goes to overseas markets.
LUCAS RESTAURANTS (LUCAS) CEO Chris Lucas said, “For the past three years our sushi masters have been creating some of the most innovative and desirable sushi this country has to offer. Unfortunately, due to the forced closure of our restaurants our team had to put their knives down.
So to re-open Kisume’s sushi bar is a no brainer. This is an extraordinary moment in time for our country. My teams have worked so hard to make this happen. The best seafood made into magical sushi by the best sushi masters. Plus we are able to re-employ a number of our amazing staff which includes some of our highly skilled visa holders, who otherwise would have no income”.
The takeaway menu features a Tuna Feature Box; Salmon Feature Box; Maki Feature Box as well as a premium sushi and sashimi; ranging from $38 to $88. Kisumé is also offering a Kid’s Box which includes avocado roll, cooked tuna roll and a teriyaki chicken roll, for $24.
Takeaway will be available for pick-up from Kisumé at 175 Flinders Lane, Melbourne every day between 5pm and 7pm and via pre-order only.
For same day collection, guests must order before 3pm or can pre-order up to seven days ahead online via www.kisume.com.au/takeaway.
