The Graham Hotel, located in a 130 year old heritage building in scenic Port Melbourne, has long been a mainstay for locals and Melbourne foodies alike for an exceptional fine dining experience in friendly surrounds – without the big city price tag.
The tradition continues with new Head Chef, Perry Schagen, joining twin brother owners Tony and Peter Giannakis with his modern inspired French cuisine. Chef Schagen joins the Graham after esteemed Head Chef roles at Circa the Prince and Taxi Dining Room, working alongside the renowned Michael Lambie.
Stand out dishes now on the menu include Chargrilled Wagyu Porterhouse with Thyme Confit and Bone Marrow Jus (pictured), Five Spiced Quail Terrine Foie Gras Parfait with Cumquat Chutney and Housemade Brioche, and Rolled Saddle of Rabbit Braised Leg Kohlrabi Cream with Raspberry Madeira Dressing.
Tony and Peter Giannakis have owned the Graham Hotel since 2001 and continue to offer their homespun hospitality, great food and service to regulars and new punters. With the brothers’ special brand of warmth with a personal touch, every customer also receives a parting gift of selected seasonal spices or sugars as take-home gift.
The Graham Hotel also features a stylish and cosy Wine Bar, located off the main entrance with a sheltered courtyard for smokers. The Wine Bar offers a choice of fresh appetizers for grazing and 25 different wines by the glass, thoughtfully chosen by Tony, from a comprehensive list of over 450 wines.
A private function room complete with fireplace is available for up to 28 dinner guests for all types of corporate, family, or festive occasions any time of year. The Graham can also accommodate larger private groups with both the Main dining room & wine bar available for exclusive use.
For the ultimate culinary indulgence, a 7 course Degustation Menu is available ($85pp, min 2 guests) featuring a mouthwatering range of fresh seafood, pork, and rabbit, served with an array of tempting luxurious desserts.
Pressed for time? For busy executives or local workers, a $35 Lunch Express two course menu with glass of wine is on offer Mon-Friday 12pm-3pm.
