We hope you’re hungry. It’s time for a whole new plant-based eating experience.
Melbourne has just scored itself a hot, new vegan eatery that’s sure to satisfy your cravings (and your Insta feed). Pens at the ready, your list of St Kilda hangouts is about to grow a little longer.
Deliciously guilt-free burgers are sat upon a lush backdrop of print-adorned walls, neon lights and hanging greenery. You’d be mad not to O.D. on some sweet potato fries and even madder not to boomerang it. These aesthetics were born to cameo on your feed.
If its dreamy interiors weren’t enough to have you jumping on the nearest tram post-work, the biodynamic wines (who knew this was even a thing?!) sure as hell will. We happily sipped on some rosé as my resident vegan friend informed me as to ‘how hard it is to find vegan drink options sometimes’. Never fear. The beauty of this menu is that you can shut your eyes, spin around ten times and no matter where your finger lands on the menu, it’s all plant-based. Happy hour made simple for everyone.
Whilst the word ‘vegan’ proceeding ‘eatery’ might have some skeptics rolling their eyes as they fiercely defend their passion for hamburgers, take it from a non-vegan such as myself: this was DELISH.
I chowed down on the Beet Steak Burger and felt such incredulity at the fact that this was all jam-packed with good stuff. Here I was envisaging a diet of kale, kale and more kale, when in fact you can enjoy the most creative and tasty vegan offerings without an ounce of guilt. (Okay, maybe a little bit of a different kind of guilt when you inhale a slice of the key lime pie and sniff out seconds. Whoops).
I made one small dent in the menu offerings, but there was so much more damage to be done. My next mission: down a Jaffa Cake smoothie and hijack the soft serve machine. All in good time.
