Presenting itself as a function all rounder, Oak & Vine is equipped for various private events including parties, engagements/weddings, product launches, viewing parties and corporate functions; catering for up to 100 people cocktail style with assorted seating such as bench seats, and high and low tables utilised throughout the space.
Featuring a cocktail bar central to the restaurant, separate formal dining area and a unique ‘wintergarden’ alfresco area overlooking Market Street, Oak & Vine’s design highlights include modern furnishings with natural wood and green tones used throughout, decorative timber panelled ceiling and drop down lighting fixtures to create a relaxed ambience.
Taking advantage of the street side locale, the ‘wintergarden’ concept adds a fresh air atrium with a plant filled alfresco space that harnesses natural light with glass windows covering one side, which are open on warm days and nights for discerning guests to enjoy the breeze and people watch at their leisure.
Championing locally sourced, fresh ingredients, Oak & Vine aims to give their guests a true taste of Victoria with a regionally inspired menu featuring dishes such as Victorian Western Plains pork ribs that fall beautifully off the bone, a classic chicken parma topped with ham, house Napoli and Shaw River buffalo mozzarella, and O’Connors scotch fillet with house potato skins and slaw.
For those after a small bite to eat while enjoying a drink from the extensive beverage menu, Oak & Vine takes bar food to the next level with tasty morsels such as duck milk buns, arancini and crab tacos all on offer to curb cravings.
