They promised me it would taste good, and it did.
Unlike other gluten free mueslis, I didn’t have to mask the taste with agents such as coconut yoghurt or maple syrup. Plus, the serving size for complete satisfaction was a lot smaller than competitors.
Thankyou are famously know for their water product, but they have now expanded to food and beauty products. Not only will you be satisfied after breakfast when you eat thankyou muesli, you are also contributing to funding life-changing projects.
Thankyou exists 100% to fund projects. Each Thankyou food pack contributes to providing short-term food aid as well as long-term food security for someone in need. The consumer can track the impact of their purchase, complete with GPS coordinates by entering the unique product Tracker ID at thankyou.co.
Thankyou is a seriously cool (insert other describing words: worthy, stand up, game-changing, thoughtful…) brand. I was fortunate to be able to hear the Thankyou story from co-founder Daniel Flynn at an event in Melbourne last year. Although the brand was on my radar, I wasn’t aware of the extent of change they have begun to make. I loved the presentation, I tweeted, I grammed and have been searching for purchases since to relive the essence. Coincidently a copy of the first issue of the thankyou paper fell in my lap and I knew it was a sign… I emailed and waited patiently for the muesli to arrive, along with (thanks to the team) breakfast bars, hand soap, body wash and lotion.
As a gluten free individual, I’ve had many bad experiences searching for the perfect “quick” breakfast, resulting in expensive product taking up space in the pantry. I was honestly completely shocked to have found a great tasting option that falls into the muesli category and not the sugar cereals category.
“…Packed with goodness – dates and toasted coconut, mixed together with roasted (and perfectly crunchy) nuts, sunflower seeds, linseeds, pepitas, and chia.” – Callum Hann, Chief Taste Officer
I urge you to give it a go. Eat it plain, just with milk; whichever type you choose.
An Overview of the Thankyou projects:
Thankyou has three main projects, food, water, health and hygiene. Depending on what you purchase will determine the initiative that receives the funding.
Thankyou water funds a range of safe water solutions across Cambodia, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Burundi, India, Timor Leste, Kenya, Haiti and Uganda. The types of projects they work on with their partners include community wells, rainwater tanks, water pans, biosand filters and gravity-fed systems.
Thankyou food projects are divided into Food for Now™ and Food for Future™ programs. Short-term food aid through Food for Now™ aims to address the immediate needs of communities that require urgent, emergency access to food aid. On the other hand, Food for Future™ programs involve agricultural, livestock and health projects that aim to improve the long-term food security and overall health of communities.
Thankyou body care funds projects that promote health and hygiene education amongst communities. These programs consist of educating communities in personal, food, water and household hygiene through a broad range of mediums (such as school-based curriculums, or community-led classes).
