Tokyo Tina has launched brunch with a side of bingo, challenging Melbourne’s previous notions of boozy Sundays. Warning; don’t get left behind.
Whether guests are clearing the haze of Saturday night, or wanting to put the world to right, Tokyo Tina is the destination. Pair morning must-haves like Bloody Mary’s with Tina’s ‘all-in’ Japanese feast and a side of bingo and be rest-assured that Sunday has been done right.
Launching on 29 April, with two sessions available from 12pm and an hourly 10-minute bingo hot- seat, it’s time to sink into bottomless Aperol spritz, beer and bubbles and wave goodbye to those Sunday-blues. All for $69 per person.
Rising to the occasion, Tokyo Tina will be serving up some new Sunday-only dishes, such as bacon and egg bao accompanied by existing favourites of okonomiyaki Japanese pancakes and smoked duck bibimbap dishes to be shared amongst the table.
The sessions will be hosted by the infamous and award-winning comedy trio, ‘Granny Bingo’ – Edith Vale, Maureen McGilicuddy and Caroline Springs, who will be sure to provide the laughs.
The crowned bingo king or queen will walk away with some serious bragging rights, as prizes are set to include; restaurant vouchers, jukebox control (one song only!) and the honorary cuddly toy, of course.
Now novices, don’t be shy. We’re all friends around here and practice makes perfect, so it’s a good job that Tina has your back covered with ongoing weekly sessions.
