Kirsten Tibballs is Australia’s very own Queen of Chocolate, and the creative mastermind behind the delicious ‘Style Rebellion’ lollipops. She is famous across the globe for her handmade chocolates and patisserie artistry, and she has featured on a variety of cooking shows such as Masterchef Australia and Everyday Gourmet with Justine Schofield.
There’s no limit to what Kirsten can achieve, with her skills leading her to success in competitions such as The World Pastry Team Championships in Las Vegas; The Pastry Olympics in Germany; and The Patisserie Grand Prix in Japan.
Kirsten is the sole ambassador for leading chocolate manufacturer Callebaut, which has taken her throughout Asia Pacific and Europe, where her ‘Style Rebellion’ Lollipops were born.
The Style Rebellion Lollipops are no joke. After being able to watch Kirsten make them in person, I am, firstly, ashamed at how bad I am in the kitchen, and secondly, amazed at the creativity and effort that goes into each step.
In 2002, Kirsten established the Savour Chocolate and Patisserie School in Brunswick, out of a desire to pass on her knowledge to fellow food lovers and professionals alike. The Savour School is the only cooking school in Australia that is solely dedicated to teaching the art of chocolate and patisserie, and it hosts many international guests each year.
You can go to a variety of classes at the Savour School, or, if you’re too embarrassed by your cooking skills (like myself), you can get a subscription to Kirsten’s online library of over 160 recipes.
