Beginning Sunday 31st July, founder of Dessert Parlour and dessert maker extraordinaire, Ngoc Le, will be teaming up with the kings of specialty coffee co-owners of Workshop Bros, Joe La and brothers Brian and Nolan Taing for a Sunday pop up in their Queen Street, Melbourne store.
This match made in dessert and coffee heaven will feature a combination of exciting desserts by Dessert Parlour including the Macaronut, co-created by the Macaron Sisters and launched for the first time in Australia earlier this year.
The pop up will take place for four consecutive weeks from Sunday 31st July till Sunday August 21st August from 10.00am – 3.00pm (or until sold out), in Workshop Bros’ city store at 4/190 Queen Street Melbourne.
In store, Workshop Bros promises to deliver their specialty coffee, better known to their local customers as ‘love in a cup.’ Workshop Bros will be showcasing their; custom fruit driven blend roasted by Axil, Rotating Single Origins by Monk Bodhi Dharma, which includes a standard “Ninety Plus” Batch Brew. There are also hints of recent gaming trends for latte art.
The Dessert Parlour’s infamous Macaronuts will be on sale with new flavours – choc raspberry, oreo and the original matcha coconut available. Alongside the macaronut will be The Dessert Parlour’s gold dusted baked donuts and a new CHOUX puff pastry range.
The Taing brothers have confirmed several shop openings in Melbourne in the near future including Le. And there are also talks of a specialty coffee and dessert parlour take over in Bali and other parts of Asia in the next three years.
