Melbourne entrepreneurs, Those Girls are warming up winter with their new, piping hot and oh-so delicious hot cider range set to hit the streets of Melbourne this week.
The successful Iced Tea and Cider brand is the brainchild of Lauren Davie and Elena Andoniou, two passionate Melbourne foodies, who have a love for creative, healthy and delicious freshly brewed beverages. The innovative pair are launching their non- alcoholic, winter warmer range featuring; Hot Apple Cider and Hot Buttered Lemonade.
Presently, Those Girls can be found serving up their winter brews at the Queen Victoria Night Market in Melbourne every Wednesday night from 5pm to 10pm.
Those Girls were recently featured on a popular Australian TV program, which saw technology investor Steve Baxter, backing the innovative and creative Australian beverage company. Baxter invested $75,000 in Those Girls in exchange for 40% of their equity.
With hope to expand nation wide later this year, Lauren and Elena’s philosophy is a simple one, with emphasis on only using the freshest local ingredients in their drinks. The duo’s desire is to spread their infectious smiles and love across Australia, all while sipping on their home made and hand crafted liquid blends.
Steve Baxter, Internet pioneer and start-up investor, said: “I tried every flavour of iced tea that the girls had and I loved them all. And I’m not much of an iced tea drinker so that’s saying something! I have been working with Those Girls for a few months now. They are great at what they do and I can see a big future for them and the brand.”
Indeed, Those Girls are very clever girls.
