Recharge, reconnect and regenerate mind, body and soul at Delatite Wines’ inaugural Harvest Moon Festival on 13 – 15 May 2022.
Held on the weekend of the full moon at the end of harvest, in Victoria’s High Country, Mansfield, the three- day event explores earth, air, fire, and water, with a focus on sustainability.
Surrounded by views of Mt Buller and the alpine range, Delatite Wines’ new state-of-the-art cellar door and restaurant will play host to an invigorating program. From yoga in the vines, cold water submersion and meditation sessions to hot air ballooning, fine-dining with Pope Joan’s Bente Grysbaek, bonfires, local produce markets and inspiring speakers; Harvest Moon Festival will see you escape into a wellness wonderland in the tranquil beauty of the Delatite Valley – wine in hand.
There’s something for everyone: nature lovers, the sustainability-conscious and curious, food and wine enthusiasts, young families and anyone simply seeking an inspiring getaway this autumn.
“This event is about celebration and enjoyment of our region,” says host and Delatite Wines managing director, David Ritchie. “We want people to come here, enjoy our beautiful place, learn, have fun and eat and drink well.”
Delatite Wines’ interest in sustainable farming led them to adopting biodynamic practices 15 years ago, but Ritchie admits that is just the tip off the iceberg of what’s out there, today.
“There is a great groundswell of interest in new farming ideas and approaches to farming, at all levels,” he said. ‘Which puts us in the position of being able to both teach and learn.”
Participants will have the chance to hear about regenerative and open gate farming, sustainable architecture, food sourcing and biodynamics from key note speakers.
Harness the power of nature while learning about the positive effects of sustainable living and regenerative farming at the Harvest Moon Festival.
