
Christmas lovers better brace them e’lves as Victoria Park’s renowned putt putt course transforms into the ultimate Christmas wonderland this festive season with the putting green set to sport larger than life Christmas characters and a light spectacular that will shine both day and night.
Running from November 14 to December 24, Victoria Park Christmas Putt Putt will feature over 30 extravagant installations featuring everything from grazing reindeers, playful toy soldiers, gingerbread men, Santa’s letterbox for the kids to post their wish lists, and the big man himself.

Visitors will venture through three magical areas as they tackle the challenging and fun course, with the likes of Reindeer’s Meadow, Candy Cane Lane and Santa’s Stop set to leave putters both young and old walking away joyous and carolling.
Befitting a scene that screams “elifie selfie” there will also be $100 Victoria Park gift cards up for grabs each week for the best Instagram and Facebook Christmas snaps taken on Santa’s Throne.
Victoria Park Director Siobhan Bickle said no stone would be left unturned in her bid to create a Christmas spectacle that shines bright from morning to night and will live long in the memories of children and adults alike.
“Putt putt at Victoria Park is fun at the best of times, let alone when you get to enjoy the course amid the visual splendour of the Christmas extravaganza we’ve got in store,” she said.
“From catching up with Santa perched on Hole 17’s Heartbreak Hill, to helping find a missing Rudolph on Hole 3, there will be countless moments leaving visitors smiling, laughing or simply wide-eyed with amazement.
“You also don’t have to be a putt putt enthusiast to enjoy the fun, with our fully licensed course and nearby bistro making Victoria Park Christmas Putt Putt the must-do destination for corporate events, team building sessions and memorable festive season first dates,” she said.

With more exciting secrets to be revealed, Christmas-themed snow cones will also help visitors beat the heat.
A mother of five, Ms Bickle said she has ambitions for the Christmas wonderland to become an annual must-do for locals and visitors alike over the silly season.
“As the Directors of Victoria Park for almost 20 years, my father Louis Bickle and I are delighted that our iconic Putt Putt course will remain to be enjoyed by locals and visitors amid the Brisbane City Council’s Victoria Park Vision announcement to redevelop the golf course. We hope our Christmas Putt Putt can spark a little joy in everyone who plays for years to come,” she said.
