Got a soft spot for the clocks at Flinders Street Station? Then you’re in luck, because Melbourne Watch Company has released its latest collection – Flinders Heritage – a thoughtful homage to the Melbourne landmark.
The five-piece collection is slimmer in fit than the brand’s original Flinders range, making it the perfect unisex offering.
Watch faces come in five different styles: Modern, Modern Rose, Navy, Black or Classic, and straps are made from premium quality Nappa leather in either black or brown.
Founder Sujain Krishnan says “women have made up for just over 25% of our overall sales,” and the Flinders Heritage Collection is designed to steer away from this statistic.
“While the Flinders Heritage isn’t a women’s model specifically,” says Krishnan, “we feel that it makes a great unisex style given the size and slim profile.”
The Melbourne Watch Company was launched in 2013 with its debut model, the Flinders.
Nine collections later, Melbourne Watch Co has a dedicated showroom in Carlton and is stocked in Sydney, Singapore, California, New York and the UK, and will be appearing at the Worn & Wound Windup Watch Fair in New York.
