The past year has seen a resurgence in the popularity of the common scarf. Neck ties, silk scarves in the hair, and of course, Lenny Kravitz’s favourite giant blanket scarves have all had another go-around.
Melbourne label dog&boy has previewed its AW19 collection of scarves in a range of prints and styles fit for any forecast.

The collection is made with the environment in mind, from natural and sustainable materials such as Australian merino wool, silk and cotton, and printed with reactive dyes to minimise environmental impact, meaning dog&boy’s approach to fashion is just about as slow as the wintery days you’ll spend rugged up in one of their scarves!

This winter, the brand favours classic, sophisticated design rather than seasonal trends, so you’re definitely getting bang for your buck. Think statement line drawings, floral illustrations and watercolours printed in bold, wintery tones.

Founder and principal designer Sonya Michele says, “We use seasonal colour tones but know that our scarves can be – and are worn – throughout the year due to the fine fabrics and beautiful designs. The new autumn/winter range in Australian merino wool is perfect to be worn right through into SS19 and beyond. We are so proud to see our customers re-wear our scarves in a variety of ways.”

Dog&boy’s AW19 collection launches to retailers at Life Instyle Tradeshow Sydney in February, and will be available online from March, at dogandboy.com.
