Situated in Melbourne’s West, Colour Box Studio is a community creative hub. Colour Box Studio will be launching its Fashion Program on Wednesday 27th February from 4:30 – 8:30pm. Over a five week period, which coincides with L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Week, the Colour Box Studio Fashion Program will be showcasing Melbourne’s Fashion Creatives and focusing on the SELF (Sustainable Ethical Local Fashion) theme.
Established and Emerging Designers taking part in the Pop Up Shop include:
- New Model Beauty Queen – ethically produced ladies fashion
- The Social Studio – fashion Label and Social Enterprise
- Jude – locally produced fashion and accessories
- urbanearthwear – ethically certified underwear
- Aacute – local designer jewellery and soy wood wick candles
- ELandTINO – fashion and accessories
- Studio 941 – hand painted silk accessories
- Twitch Women’s Sewing Collective – South-Sudanese collective in Dandenong
- Aqua Babe – eco friendly casual fashion
The launch 27 Feb 4:30-8:30PM will include:
- Pop Up Fashion Show with shop labels modelled
- Door Raffle Fashion Prizes & Entertainment
- Live Internet Radio Broadcast with Rant n Rave Radio 4:30-5PM
- Photobooth by DA Photography (Photographer Dulce Amor)
The fashion program will also offer:
- 20 March: ‘Fashion Box’ – a Sustainable Ethical Fashion Forum and Industry Networking night and (panel discussion industry leader and designer Dale Cornell from New Model Beauty Queen and Vicki Sterling from Bonds Clothing more to be announced)
- 10 March 12-3PM: Colour Box Clothes Swap Event
