Indeed, it seems— contrary to my last beauty write-up on the importance of lashes— that if your eyebrow game is ‘strong’ (read: really damn good), you’ve got it all in the bag.

Since its earliest beginnings as a mini-salon in the back room of a small Richmond boutique, Lash & Brow Boudoir has earned itself quite a reputation—and rightly so. Proudly standing as Richmond’s only threading bar, Lash & Brow Boudoir are indeed threading experts—but their services don’t stop there. The salon also provides Melbourne gals with lush lashes, silky smooth pins and gorgeous glowing tans. Some might even call them the everyday heroes of the beauty world, and be quite right in doing so.
What’s more, all of Lash & Brow Boudoir’s staff have years of training and experience up their sleeves, with both lash technicians sitting on a solid 8 years each and both brow artists with 10 years between them. Considering this, you can pretty well guarantee expert service, quality and results.
But I must say, of all the services Lash & Brow Boudoir provide, threading is most definitely their speciality—and I would know. Just last week I booked myself an appointment to have my brows threaded and was not disappointed. The (super friendly) brow artist talked me through the process of threading, before helping me decide which brow shape would suit my face. Once a shape had been chosen, she made sure I was totally comfortable before getting down to the job and frequently checked to see if I was feeling any pain (which I wasn’t, because threading is way less painful than waxing or tweezing). The experience was fantastic and the end result was even better. My brows have never looked so good.
You see, I’ve realised the key to perfect eyebrows is threading, and if you’re not familiar with the practice, you should be. Threading is the safe, all-natural, inexpensive and surprisingly effective alternative to tweezing and waxing. The absence of hot, sticky wax and harmful chemicals means skin irritation is unlikely to occur, plus the nature and procedure of the actual threading means stray hairs won’t be left behind, as is often the case after tweezing. If you ask me, it’s all completely faultless.
