But! You can all thank me because I have found the actual, real life, Queens of Eyebrows…
Carmen and Diana are a fabulous mother-daughter duo and the masterminds behind the amazing ‘The Eyebrow Queen’ salon in the heart of South Yarra.
Carmen has had over 20 years of experience, with her talent for eyebrows becoming evident while still studying beauty therapy back home in Romania. She is Australia’s longest and leading eyebrow artist, as she was the first to open up a salon wholly dedicated to the art of eyebrows.
The talent of these two women is evident from their A-List clientele, which includes the likes of Margot Robbie, Natalie Bassingthwaighte and Delta Goodrem. But luckily enough for us commoners, they are open to anyone and everyone!
I visited the lovely Carmen and I honestly can’t explain to you how much she transformed my eyebrows. Before my appointment I was a die-hard threading fan (mainly because I found somewhere that does it for $10), but I’m definitely reconsidering now.
Carmen and Diana use a combination of waxing, plucking, trimming and tinting techniques, all with the aim to expose the natural brow bone and give a more youthful appearance.
A Brow Shape is $50 and Tint is $30, and although this isn’t as cheap as $10 threading, it’s so much healthier for your brows and the results are beyond rewarding.
