Creating a morning and night-time routine that fits into our busy lifestyles and actually works is a hard one. But, with The Beauty Drop 48-hr event starting on the 7th of September, now is the time to sign up, become a V.I.P member and grab some of your favourite products with outstanding deals and offers available!
We had the pleasure of talking to self-confessed makeup and skincare addict, and The Beauty Drop Ambassador Rowi Singh, as she talked us through her morning and night-time routine, as well as her top three makeup tips.
Beauty is my creative outlet; skincare is my therapy. Take your time finding that works for you. Trial and error with skincare is important because things that work for somebody else may or may not work for you. It’s all about patience!
I’ve also suffered with acne for half my adult life, so I became obsessed with finding skincare that works well with my skin type. There’s something very calming about delving into my skincare routine after a long day. As I get older, I’m more willing to invest in quality beauty and skincare that just makes me feel good. I’m at my best when my skin is glowing.
Morning:
Finding time to establish a routine for our busy mornings can be tough. Thankfully my routine is quick and easy with some staple products, effective for skin types across the board.
- Good Molecules Niacinamide Toner and Hyaluronic Serum
- Sunday Riley Vitamin C Serum
- Face Theory Azelaic Acid
- Sunday Riley Afterglow Cream and brightening eye cream
- Naked Sundays Glow radiant sunscreen
After my morning skin routine comes makeup of course! I love my M.A.C Cosmetics Whirl Lipstick, it’s a certified makeup staple for me and cannot live without it!
Night:
I keep it fairly simple. Winding down at night and getting ready for sleep calls for long lasting quality products such as:
- Good Molecules Niacinamide Toner and Hyaluronic Serum
- La Roche Posay Effaclar Serum
- Biossance Squalane + Omega Repair Cream
Rowi Singh’s top three makeup tips to compliment her skincare routine include:
- Get your hands on a glowy primer
Preferably Laura Mercier! I can’t live without mine, and it just sets up the perfect base for me to start getting creative with my makeup. I also love La Roche Posay Effaclar Serum to prep to minimise my breakouts and to boost my skin’s radiance on heavy makeup days. This product is available on The Beauty Drop event, and it is such a staple for me – so don’t miss out!
With the deals on Beauty Drop coming soon, the best deals on my favourite beauty products are up for grabs. Luxury beauty at affordable price points? That’s MY self-care.
- Liquid blush is everything!
It is understated and I honestly can’t imagine my makeup routine without it now. I am obsessed. It just gives me that extra rosy look on my cheeks, and I love to top off my looks with some lip oil.
- A spray sunscreen is always important
A spray sunscreen is an absolute must to protect my skin and makes reapplying super easy. I love a youthful, bright complexion whilst also protecting my skin from the sun. My secret sauce to prevent early signs of ageing.
