New on Counter – Natio Meditate

Don’t have a yogi bone in your (inflexible) body? Don’t worry, neither do I. Sure, I’ve signed up for a few yoga classes and not hated them – I’ve even tried bikram. But there’s just something about the audible breathing, pulling of the big toes and the search for your inner meerkat that hasn’t got me hooked.

And meditation? Getting my mind to stop whirring for more than a few seconds is a trying task, so it’s no wonder that any attempt to balance my chakra or calm my chitta leaves me aum-ming and ahhing over what to make for dinner, rather than aum-ing to a state of mental bliss.

Hopefully, I can ease into a more peaceful and calming yogi-lifestyle with the new Natio Meditate Bath and Body range – no sabbatical to an Ashram required. This divine smelling range of body care products use all-natural Indian Attars, famous for their mood enhancing properties. Scents such as Pink Lotus help to calm the mind and bring a feeling of peace while Champa elicits a more uplifting sensation, so it’s easy to pick a product depending on your needs.

The products aren’t just a pretty scent; natural Ayurvedic Indian plant extracts of Neem and Brahmi (soothing and revitalising respectively) join wonder-ingredients aloe, sweet almond, jojoba and sesame to complete the body and soul nourishing experience.

I’m all for the benefits of a beauty ritual, and what a way to enhance the calming and centering effect of some pampering ‘me-time’ by including aspects of India’s rich sensory culture, calming yoga and meditation principles.

The Natio Meditate range has all body needs sorted; shower gel, body scrub, body lotion, body butter, hand wash and hand cream in an assortment of Attars, and all under $20.

Namaste Natio.
