The Onya beauty team is oh-so chuffed to introduce our very own Resident Hair Guru, Ms Freda Rossidis. After 20 years of innovative styling and unrivalled colouring, Freda has well and truly reached Queen Bee status in the world of hairdressing. And no, I don’t mean the Paris-Hilton-Holier-Than-Thou kind of Queen Bee; I mean the Fountain-of-Wisdom-Rocking-NY-Fashion-Week kind!
Guru Freda’s gorgeous salon, Cast (located in Fitzroy and South Yarra), has received in excess of 250 awards since opening in 1997. On top of this, Freda has twice won the State L’Oreal Colour Trophy, has received 12 awards from the International Hairstylists Society, and has recently been crowned as the (drum roll please) Victorian Hairdresser of the Year! You may also recognise her name (and fab styling skills) from some of the top glossies, including Marie Claire Australia, Grazia and GQ.
Holding celeb-status in the Australian hairdressing industry, Freda’s hands (and heart) of gold are in high demand. She was the Hair Director for Peter Alexander’s show at the fabulous Melbourne Spring Fashion Week, is responsible for the red-carpet-worthy do’s at the TV Week Logies and Brownlow, styles celebrity presenters at the Spring Racing Carnival, and the list goes on…and on…and on.
This True-Blue gal exudes energy, inspiration and passion, and (as I’m sure you can imagine) we couldn’t be happier to have her aboard. Let the fountain of hair wisdom flow, Freda!
