Iceland
While the climate might put some of you off, there are not many places more beautiful than Iceland. The country is full of amazing landscapes, meaning you’ll never be short of epic photograph opportunities. Make sure you go on plenty of hikes as there is so much to see and snap!
Athens, Greece
There are some great places to visit in Greece, but if we had to choose just one, it would have to be Athens. Thanks to a 3000-year history and a myriad of beautiful architecture, the city offers some amazing photo opportunities to take advantage of. The obvious one is the Pantheon but we also suggest getting shots of the Acropolis or taking a walk through the small town of Anafiotika.
Thailand
Another top destination is Thailand, a country full of Buddhist temples, stunning islands, and thousands of years of history. You will also find plenty of nature, while you could also take a trek through Bangkok, a city full of amazing architecture.
Austria
Why not take a trip to Austria if you want some epic photo opportunities? The city of Vienna is an obvious place to go but we also suggest Lake Constance, the Tyrolean Alps, and cities such as Hallstatt and Innsbruck.
Sri Lanka
Another wonderful country that is full of stunning landscapes, architecture, and nature, is Sri Lanka. This place might not make many of these lists but we think it is massively underrated. For one, you will find a ton of world heritage sites that could deliver some fantastic photos.
London
London is worth visiting for a number of reasons but for photographers, not many cities will offer anywhere near as many photo opportunities. The Tower of London, Windsor Castle, and the London Eye are just some places to get some great pictures.
Malta
The Blue Lagoon, Dingli Cliffs, and the stunning beach at Ramla Bay. Those are just some of the amazing destinations scattered around the beautiful country of Malta. Just remember to upload your pics on your photography website at the first possible opportunity.
South Africa
For some diverse photo opportunities, South Africa is well worth a visit. Not only do you have sublime safaris to capture but you also have the beautiful Cape Town. If you like nature, and in particular animals, there is no better place than South Africa.
Italy
If architecture is your preference, you will not find much better than in Italy. You have the Colosseum, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, and the wonders found throughout Venice. For stunning landscapes, you have Tuscany, Florence, and the Amalfi Coast. You should also check out Lake Como, as you will find some stunning photo opportunities there.
Morocco
If you want a destination that offers a ton of culture, colour, and excitement, Morocco is your place. We definitely suggest taking in large cities such as Casablanca and Marrakech or heading into the mountains to find great snaps of nature.
Norway
In our opinion, Norway is one of the most photogenic countries in the world. Although it can get cold, this country is full of mountains and fantastic fjords. Cities such as Bergen also deliver some wonderful opportunities for some stunning snaps.
Wales
The great thing about a trip to Wales is that you can also take in other countries within the UK. You could go up to Scotland, down to England, or across to Ireland. However, if you were just staying in Wales, you would have plenty of beautiful places to photograph. You could take in Cardiff, visit the Snowdonia National Park, or admire the beautiful Gower Peninsula.
Germany
Germany is another country that throws up some great opportunities for stunning photographs. You could snap away in the Black Forest, at Geroldsee Lake, or in the Rhine Valley. Then, of course, you have major cities including Berlin, and Dortmund. Other destinations include Porta Nigra, the Neuschwanstein Castle, and the Wimbachklamm Gorge.
