Tell us about Doyoueven.
Doyoueven is more than just an activewear brand—it’s a movement that’s all about empowering individuals to push their limits, embrace their potential, and leave their mark.
We design products that are not only functional but also make people feel confident and motivated. Our community is at the heart of everything we do, and we aim to create apparel that supports their lifestyle, both in and outside the gym. Doyoueven started with a vision to build a resilient human being, and that’s reflected in everything we produce—from the quality of our materials to the message behind our collections.
What inspired you to start Doyoueven?
The idea for Doyoueven was born out of a passion for fitness and a desire to build something that truly resonated with people who shared the same values. I’ve always been driven by the idea of pushing myself beyond my comfort zone (living life by the ethos that it’s you vs. you), and I wanted to create a brand that spoke to that mindset.
Fitness has this incredible ability to transform not only your body but your mental resilience, and I saw a gap in the market for apparel that embodies both form and function. We wanted to give people a brand that makes them feel like they’re part of something bigger—whether they’re lifting in the gym or tackling challenges in their everyday life.
Tell us about your career and background.
Before Doyoueven, I was just like many others—trying to figure out what I really wanted in life. I was studying a double bachelor’s in law and finance, but as I got closer to finishing, I realised that the path I was on didn’t align with my values and passions. In my last semester, I made a bold decision to leave uni and pursue an opportunity that felt more like me. I wanted to build something that truly resonated with my belief in pushing limits, both personally and professionally. That’s what led me to Doyoueven—creating a brand that encourages people to excel and chase their potential.
Describe a typical work day for you.
A typical work day for me is always dynamic—no two days are the same, which is part of what I love about this journey. I usually start the day with a workout; it sets the tone for the day and gives me clarity. From there, it’s a mix of team meetings, creative sessions, and operational decision-making. I’m hands-on with product development, content strategy & marketing, and making sure the brand stays true to its values. There’s always something in the pipeline, so my days are spent bouncing between long-term planning and immediate projects. I also make time for reflection, whether it’s on new product lines, brand direction, or the next big idea.
What advice do you have for those wanting to start a business?
The best advice I can give is to be patient and persistent. Starting a business takes time, and the journey isn’t always linear. You’re going to face setbacks, but it’s how you navigate them that defines your path forward. Make sure your passion aligns with your business because that will be the fuel that keeps you going when things get tough. Surround yourself with the right people—build a team that believes in your vision as much as you do. And lastly, don’t be afraid to adapt. The market changes, trends evolve, and staying flexible is key to long-term success.
What’s next for you, and Doyoueven?
We’re always evolving, both as a brand and as a team. For Doyoueven, our focus is on expanding our product range, exploring new categories, and continuing to build on the community we’ve fostered since day one. We have some exciting projects in the pipeline that will allow us to further connect with our audience in new ways, but at the core, it’s about staying true to our mission–-empowering people to push beyond their limits.
