The Australian passion for sport is taking on a new form as Fanfare Prints introduces their unique take on the infamous framed jersey with the launch of their stylish fan journey boards.
Encapsulating all the passion of your favourite team in a vintage tram scroll, the individual team prints were inspired by in-depth interviews with die‐hard fans, resulting in emotional and honest responses.
True fans recall the great dates, places and even the local celebratory pub names and sayings that truly make a club. Much more than the current list of players or brightly coloured ‘official merchandise’, Fanfare Prints capture a club’s past, present and future.
Originally a birthday present for her husband, Lynn Clift, creator of Fanfare Prints, saw an opportunity for AFL fans to express their pride for their beloved teams without having to compromise on style.
The result is an original set of words – inspired and recognised by dedicated and loyal fans, which is how they prefer it.
“As we move into an increasingly digital world, our homes are evolving – the bookshelf and CD case, a reflection of our tastes, now sit in an invisible ITunes library, behind a computer screen.
Yet people remain the same: still craving ways to express who they are and what they love in the objects they display in their homes. These objects have to fit seamlessly into contemporary and stylish Australian homes,” said Lynn.
The prints are locally made to order, from art grade paper and canvas, meticulously crafted using traditional screen-printing techniques. The current codes that are available include 16 AFL teams, a Wallabies tram scroll as well as Australian Cricket, with NRL coming soon.
