Greatest Australian Athletes Of All Time

Australia has always been a proud country for it’s sports and have competed at the highest level of some sports including rugby and cricket. But this wouldn’t have been possible without the use of their sport stars which have gone on to not just be the best in their sport, but the best in Australian history and below we look at some of the greatest Australian Athletes of all time.

If you were to ask every Australian who is the greatest cricketer than has ever played for Australia then Sir Don Bradman, known as ‘The Don’ would certainly be at the top of most lists. Sir Don Bradman was twice as good as any other sports star in his general, and he is widely known as one of the greatest batsmen of all time. During his career, mainly as a test player, he averaged 99.94 and to hit them kind of numbers these days is virtually impossible, and many believe that it is one of the greatest achievements to be able to retire in his career with an average like that.
