Euro Summer Style: How To Pack The Perfect Holiday Wardrobe

There’s nothing quite like packing your bags and heading off on a big adventure. Whether you’re going alone, with your significant other, travelling with family or friends, packing your bags and hitting the road, truly is a feeling like no other. For many Aussies, Europe is a dream destination and with so much to see, do and experience, it can be difficult to know what to bring with you to get the most from your trip. Ultimately, you need to ensure that you are prepared for whatever might lay ahead and being so far away from home, you need to be sure that you have everything you will need to be packed neatly into your bag.

Travelling in Europe is an amazing experience, but even in the summer, when the weather is at its best, it can be difficult to know what to pack. How you pack your bag will be dependent on where you are going and what kind of activities or excursions you have in mind. For example, if you are heading to the beaches of the Mediterranean, you will need to pack very differently than if you are hiking in the Alps or visiting Ireland. There are so many different climates in the European region that packing can be a challenge. However, with the right approach, you can be sure that you have everything you need for the Ueo adventure of a lifetime.

Let’s take a look at some tips to help you pack the perfect holiday wardrobe for Europe this summer.

Start With The Basics

Before you start filling your bag with all of the latest and greatest fashion pieces, first you need to ensure that you have the basics covered. You will need a selection of plain t-shirts, vests, shorts and a few pairs of pants to serve as the base of your European summer wardrobe. Going for plain colours that can easily be matched with one another is always the best approach as this will give you more options to create different outfits. Myer is an excellent store that has everything you could need to get your basics sorted. They also have a range of stylish pieces, accessories and more so be sure to have a look at their collection, bringing us to the next point.

Add Some Style

Once you have your basics in place, the next thing you need to do is add some personality and style. There are countless different ways that you could potentially add a little flair to your Euro summer wardrobe. As everyone’s tastes are different, you need to ensure that you stay true to what reflects your personality and what you enjoy wearing. Choose some fashionable pieces with different colours, patterns and textures that you can mix and match with ease to expand the number of outfits you can strong together when you’re on your travels. And don’t forget to pick up some trendy accessories like sunglasses, hats, belts and jewellery too!

Consider Your Footwear

Footwear can often be one of the most challenging items when you are packing for a trip. Of course, you could make an argument to bring every pair of shoes that you own but in reality, you only really need three or four pairs. Again your footwear choices will be largely dictated by what you are going to be doing on your European adventure. If you will be visiting a lot of cities you will need a decent pair of shoes that will keep you comfortable while you are out there pounding the pavements. On the other hand, if you are going to be hiking through the mountains, a good pair of boots will be essential.

For most travellers you will need a pair of comfortable runners, a pair of sandals or thongs and a casual canvas shoe that can be dressed up or down. Depending on the activities you are doing, you may need to add a pair of hiking boots or waterproof shoes to the mix. For those travellers that might be visiting a few more upscale restaurants one pair of neutral-coloured dress shoes or heels will be more than enough.

Active Wear

Even if you are not planning on doing too many outdoor adventures, it is still worth buying some active wear for your European travels. Walking around cities in the heat, exploring quaint little European towns or even road tripping from A to B can often be more comfortable when you are wearing quick-drying, sweat-wicking clothing. Do some research and bring a few items that will be multi-functional in this regard depending on what adventure you might be going on.

Ensure You Are Ready For The European Adventure Of A Lifetime

As the old adage goes, “failing to prepare, is preparing to fail.” If you truly want to get the very most from your European adventure, you need to ensure that you pack properly for your big trip. Following the tips above, you can ensure that you are fully prepared for your big European adventure.
