Lucille MacKellar is a Gadigal/Sydney-based queer writer and comedian. Her debut solo show ‘Lucille MacKellar Has Boy Problems’ premiered at the 2024 Sydney Fringe to sold out crowds. MacKellar is a rising star of the Sydney stand-up scene, has appeared on The Guardian’s 10 Funniest Things I’ve Seen On The Internet, and as a guest on the podcast Gaytkeeping. Her writing has been featured in Writerly Magazine and further work can be found at her Substack. In 2018, Lucille co-wrote, produced and directed the smash hit sell-out show ‘Inner West Side: The Musical’ for Sydney Fringe Festival, with the production taking home one of the coveted Critics Pick Awards.
