‘Boxed in Sideways’ will immerse you in a playful, powerful and hilarious world where women lift each other up, defying the physical and psychological limitations of society’s boxes.
Each member of Three Feet has joined the circus industry in the last year, and with expertise in dance, puppetry, partner acrobatics, marketing and acting, we combine to present a statement of what can be achieved by a diverse and inclusive view of who strong women are.
Boxed in Sideways was born from “the realization that everyone, at some point, is told that they are too big or too small, too strong or too weak, too loud or too quiet”, says Jacinda Patty, producer, “we wanted to create a work that showcased what can be achieved by women who are willing to challenge the boxes, pressures and limitations placed on them by society.
