We love a company that supports Australian talent. And this summer, back by popular demand, this year’s Slurpee Tees have been designed by two of Australia’s hottest street artists; Sydney-based Deb and Brisbane-based Lucks.
Along with Melbourne based street artist Monkey, Deb and Lucks pieced their work on 2.4m x 1.2m free-standing walls at 7-Eleven stores in their home state. The footage of their work was posted on the Slurpee Facebook Page for the public to decide which design would grace the Slurpee Tee of 2012.
Deb and Lucks were selected from the best-of-the-best street artists on the Eastern Seaboard, going head-to-head in a Graffi-tee war for their work to appear on the popular Slurpee Tee.
And speaking of Slurpee (because who doesn’t love one on a scorching hot day?) they have just launched their exciting Summer flavour range for 2012, available on rotation; Pink Grapefruit, Orange Mandarin, Passionfruit, Tropical Mango, Lemon Lime Bitters and the world first Ginger Beer.
Slurpee fans can score themselves a Slurpee Tee for just $15 exclusively at 600 7-Eleven Australia stores in Victoria, New South Wales, the Australian Capital Territory and Queensland. Alternately, fans can slurp their way a free tee by purchasing 15 Supersized Slurpees and redeeming the codes on the cup.
At least you can slurp in style…
