Tassal is serving salmon and it’s oh so good!
Tassal is bringing fresh Tasmanian Atlantic Salmon to the Aussie dinner plate. The Tassal team was joined by the Hobart Hurricanes to show that salmon is more versatile than just a steak in the oven. The Hurricanes understand the importance of a healthy and balanced diet and Tassal helps them achieve that. The fast, simple and scrumptiously delicious cooking ideas were presented by the Hurricane’s dietitian Emilie Burgess. In a matter of 30 minutes three different salmon variations were served up. The cooking demonstrations were quick and delicious.
While waiting for the delicious lunch to turn perfectly golden in the oven, the cooking squad released excitement on the inflatable jumping castle provided by the Hobart Hurricanes. By the time practice was over, lunch was served. Crispy Almond Crusted Salmon Bites with Sweet Potato Fries. What a perfect summer lunch solution! And super quick and easy! Leftovers can be added to a salad and taken to work the next day.
As well as being a great source of protein the much loved Australian fish is loaded with Omega-3 Fatty Acids. This helps decreases inflammation, blood pressure and reduces the risk of many diseases as well as improving brain functioning. The list of benefits just goes on.
